Our Research
At IMSTEL, we leverage biomaterials and stem cell biology to study niche-derived cues that drive cell behavior, aiming to create vascularized tissues, tissue-on-a-chip models for drug testing, disease models, and lab-grown meat. Our primary focus areas include cardiac, neural, bone tissue engineering, and cellular agriculture. Using 3D bioprinting, we design functional tissues and scalable platforms to push the frontiers of regenerative medicine and sustainable meat production.
